HOW TO MAKE EFFECTIVE NOTES?

Teacher - Good morning students!

Students - Good morning ma'am!

Teacher - So, how are you  going to prepare  for your exams?

Ria - Ma'am I am going to read complete chapter.

Teacher - Good, reading your chapters thoroughly is a good habit but you should always make notes simultaneously. Students, what do you understand by notes?

Ashok - Notes are what you make us write in our notebook.

So, Do you agree with Ashok? If you do, I would like to correct you here. Notes are what we make by our understanding.

When I entered 6th standard I was introduced to new content as well as new subjects too. We were asked by our teachers to read full chapter and I did what I was told to do. But a day before exam I used to do same thing reading whole chapter and due to which too many stones remained unturned. One fine day I saw my sister reading a colorful copy well maintained. I asked her what it was and she made me understood what notes are and how to make them. From that day till now for last point revision I prefer notes. So, here is what I brought  for you.

HOW TO MAKE NOTES ?

  • Read a topic of the chapter carefully.
  • close your textbook and take a notebook with a page headed with bold name of the topic.
  • Write what you understood.
but will you like to read a simple copy with nothing interesting? obviously no one would like to.

So to make it interesting use:-
  • post its

  • color pens

  • highlighters

  • stickers

The overall look of your notes will look like this

Also, you can make your notes in your Androids too with notes app available in your phone.
I hope this blog was helpful to you for upgrading your knowledge about notes.

HAPPY READING!
